The recent U.S. presidential election was a milestone in the evolution of the political system of the country, because it showed that for white America this critical amount of democracy was a factor more fatal than favorable.
At the time of the «founding fathers» of the U.S., the so-called WASPS (White Anglo-Saxon Protestants) were ardent republicans who wanted to protect the country from the excesses of democracy, and decided that: 1) participation in elections would be restricted to white skinned property owners 2) to elect senators to the legislature from each state, and 3) the President and Vice President shall be elected by an electoral college.
The first two constraints have long been removed. As for the third, it played a bad joke on the WASP Republican candidate, as he was ahead of his black rival in the total number of votes in the country, but ultimately lost the election. Mitt Romney's defeat was marked by 1) the end of the hegemony of white-skinned people in American politics, and 2) the minority in the United States finally became the majority – and not just because Obama's re-election means allowing «gay marriage» and the legalization of drugs.
It is fair to say that demographic statistics showed through in the election results. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, as printed on May 17, 2012 in “The New York Times”, for the first time in U.S. history, fewer children were born to white families than to «colored». « The percentage of births to Latin American families, African Americans, Asians and other minorities in the accounting year ending in July 2011 was 50.4% of the approximately 4 million babies born,» according to the United States Census Bureau .
In the recent past, in the 1990s, when the percentage of births in the U.S. to ethnic minorities accounted for about 35-40% their representatives preferred the area of business to politics. However, the «Obama phenomenon» has led many to think about the prospects of a political career. In addition, the first victory of a dark-skinned candidate has seriously «politicized» this American minority.
Today without the support of black skinned and «Latino» electors, it is impossible to win elections at the federal level in the U.S. Even conservative «Republicans» realize this; at the last Congress in Tampa they let the third presidential candidate (and, accordingly, the vice-presidential hopeful) be 41-year-old Latin American, Marco Rubio. This is to say nothing about the «Democrats» who are pinning their long term hopes on a national minority. In their midst is rapidly rising star, Julian Castro, a 37-year-old who comes from a family of Mexican immigrants. He currently holds the post of mayor of San Antonio, Texas – the birthplace of the «Republicans». In case of victory in the upcoming gubernatorial elections, and after Obama’s second term, this «Latino» may be the most promising candidate for the next master of the White House.
Today, the America of the white Anglo-Saxons has won an «Enduring victory» over the «colored» poor and marginalized «global South» around the world. However, in the U.S., where the fastest-growing part of the population (including black radical Muslims) somehow associate themselves with these very poor and marginalized, these victories threaten to turn into a crushing defeat that puts an end to maintaining the shaky racial balance in the United States…
According to the Census Bureau, the newborn and newly arrived immigrants from South America already accounted for almost half (49%) of U.S. population growth in 2004-2005. The average age of U.S. Latin American citizens is 27.2 years, while the average age of the whole country is 36.2 years. According to the “The Wall Street Journal”, in 2010, Latin American women in the U.S. of childbearing years gave birth to an average of 2.4 children, and white Americans 1.8 children. «Colored Americans» already outnumber white Americans in four states and the District of Columbia, as well as in several major cities, including New York, Las Vegas and Memphis.
Today, natives of South America are the largest minority group in the U.S. (over 50 million people, or 16.7% of the population). A significant part of the South is Spanish-speaking, and in contrast to the blacks, the second-largest population group (12.3%), they have not naturalized. Not culturally or socially. Quite the opposite.
While American «hawks» are fighting with the representatives of the «Global South» of the planet, the problem of the «Inner South» is secretly brewing in their own home. At the core of the ideology of «internal southerners» is a neo-Nazi liberation theology called «La Rasa”, which calls for the eradication of all the races in America, except for «Chicanos» and based on the «Aztlan tradition «(Aztec civilization) and to form an independent state on its territory (Southwest U.S.) with a quasi-communist form of government.
The theory behind the beginning of this ideology was first put forward the first quarter of the twentieth century. In 1925, the Mexican philosopher Jose Vasconcelos announced in «La Raza Cosmica» the arrival of a new fifth, or the Cosmic Race, which will arise out of the Latin American race, and which will have absorbed all the best from the other races, then Ibero-america, thanks to their spiritual and racial factors will open an era of universal humanity. In the late twentieth century, a publication by Carlos Castaneda gave a new impetus and appeal to the «Aztlan tradition», and popularized it far outside the U.S. In practice, the beginning of a broader «Chicano» movement began in 1967, when they organized the so-called «March of the Reconquista» and even managed in resisting violent and bloody suppression of their protests, to bring down a police helicopter.
One of the modern «Chicano» ideologists, Professor of the University of California, Armando Navarro, argues that in the next 10-15 years, the states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas and Utah will be half Latin American: «I call it Remexiconization, not Reconquista – and a new majority will be formed. Everything will change. The White House is now only an arm's length away from us. We will have to change its name to the Brown (Bronze) House».
The right wing Republican, Patrick Buchanan (former adviser to presidents Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan), discusses in his book «The Death of the West» how the representatives of the «Cosmic Race» are socially active in the US today. In the chapter on the «New Reconquista» he quotes from the manifesto the Spanish speaking student organization «Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan» – the «Aztalan Chicano Student Movement» (MEChA), which is active in the south and south-western United States, «We have our hearts in our hands, and our hands in our native land! We announce the independence of our mixed race country. We are bronze people with bronze weapons! Before the world, before all of North America, before all our brothers on the bronze continent, we announce that we are the people; we are a true pueblo country, we are Azltans. «Furthermore, the author of «Death of the West» quotes the plan of MEChA, which reads: «Aztlán belongs to those who plant the seeds, watering, planting and harvesting the crops, but not to European outsiders. We do not recognize the unstable frontier of the bronze continent, «the lead slogan of MEChA is “Por la Raza Todo. Fuera de la Raza Nada”, that is», Everything for our race, and nothing for outsiders. «The epigraph to this chapter is a quote from the central Mexican newspaper “Excelsior”: “The American Southwest seems to be slowly and without a shot being fired, coming back to the jurisdiction of Mexico».
Such trends have been a serious concern to the U.S. authorities for years. They are now trying to muffle the problem, by turning Hispanic and black racists, which are the most threatening to the security of the state, against each other. This is most clearly, openly, and bloodily seen, for example, on the streets of Los Angeles and other southern cities, where the structure of EME (one of the think tanks of the Latin American movement in the U.S.) and «Black vanguard» (incorporating former activists of the famous «Black Panthers» and the «Liberation Army»), euphemistically referred to by the authorities «mega bands» (hundreds of well-organized mini-armies, amounting to a total of tens of thousands of disciplined, ideologically motivated fighters), are in a real civil war between each other.
The last white president of the United States George W. Bush repeatedly offered to increase the security of the southern borders and strengthen measures against companies that employ millions of illegal migrants from the South American countries. By a majority vote, the U.S. Senate in May 2006, approved the construction on the border with Mexico, of a special three-row wall with barbed wire and security cameras, 600 kilometers long and an 800-kilometer long barrier to road transport. In an important detail: the U.S. administration has contracted the construction of the fences, to companies that work for the Pentagon. As one of the senators said, «Good fences contribute to the establishment of good neighborly relations, and not vice versa».
Before that a similar slightly smaller wall stood on the US-Mexico border for years. Evil tongues say that every year, «democratic» Americans shoot by it many more «defectors» than did the «totalitarian» police of East Germany at the Berlin Wall. According to the official statistics, in 2005 alone, more than 500 “Latinos” who were crossing the border between Mexico and the U.S. were killed…
However, these measures do not have much effect. At a time when the United States decided to build another «impregnable wall» on the border with Mexico, and President Bush sent thousands of units of the National Guard there, it was found that almost half of the more than 12 million illegal immigrants in the U.S., never violated the border rules and generally entered the country perfectly legal. The authorities are reluctant to recognize that these millions of “good” illegal immigrants arrived in the U.S. on legal visas, but «forgot» to return home. Today they are called «lingerers» and in the fierce debate over immigration reform they tend not to be mentioned. Representatives of U.S. Immigration and Customs declare: «All the attention is being drawn to the southern borders of our country, from whence a stream of illegal immigrants comes, but a lot of people have moved to us legally and simply overstayed their visas, and this is a very big problem».
