Poland: Presidential Election Goes to Second Round. Why Pawel Kukiz Angers Adam Michnik?

A second round of Polish presidential election is scheduled on May 24... One of the key stories from the first round vote was the success of Paweł Kukiz, 52, a former rock singer and political novice, who finished a surprising third with more than 20, 8%. Looks like his electorate will decide who wins the run-off election... Some things Pawel Kukiz says sound appealing to people. For instance, his opposition to «the plans to make Poland an exporter of cheap labor and the right place for giving a boost to agritourism». He calls himself an «anti-system candidate» ready to team up with anyone willing to «rip up the political system» that he calls a criminal one...

Ukraine Deceives Europe

...The new Ukrainian laws adopted by parliament in April, 2015 bring out a direct link between the ideology of the Hitler’s puppets in Ukraine and the views propagated by those who have recently seized power in Kiev to declare themselves the fighters against «Moscovite occupation». Today Ukraine is a failed state. The Kiev regime will continue to deceive Europe about the prospects for European integration as long as Europe wants to be deceived.

Canada Represents a Reservoir of Support for Ukrainian Neo-Nazis

...Canadian support for the most right-wing elements, including neo-Nazis, in Ukraine would never have been possible had it not been for the concrete support provided by the Canadian Security and Intelligence Service (CSIS) and its Central Intelligence Agency masters since the Cold War era to neo-fascist organizations within the Ukrainian-Canadian diaspora community. It is a community that numbers 1.2 million and which has tremendous political clout in the Canadian Parliament and various provincial legislatures...

Heroizing UPA: Polish Government against Its Own People

On October 14, Petro Poroshenko signed a decree proclaiming October 14 to be the day of celebrating Day of Defender of Ukraine instead of the post-Soviet analogous holiday celebrated on February 23. This day the Ukrainian neo-Nazi traditionally march with torches to mark the anniversary of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army. The decision sparked a wave of indignation in Poland. Protests hit the streets, the demonstrators picketed the Ukraine’s diplomatic offices demanding to stop heroization of OUN-UPA that is responsible for killing thousands of Poles during WWII. Protesters marched in Przemyśl, Krakow, Wroclaw and Warsaw under the slogan «Lasting Shame to OUN – UPA Murderers from SS Division Galicia»...

Prospects for Ukraine’s Division: Poland Tries it Out

Poland's parliamentary speaker Radoslaw Sikorski has been quoted as saying that Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to Poland's then prime minister to divide Ukraine between themselves. Sikorski, who until September served as Poland's foreign minister, was quoted telling U.S. website Politico that Putin allegedly made the proposal during the Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk's visit to Moscow in 2008 as one-to-one meeting took place... It looks like Sikorski made an attempt to test the general reaction to the idea of Ukraine’s partition and simultaneously add the issue of reshaping the borders to the international agenda. Sikorski is impudent enough to shift the blame on others as the Warsaw real intentions are ascribed to third parties...

Germany of 1930s and Ukraine in 2014: Ominous Similarity

If one compares the Germany of the 1920-1930s and the Ukraine of today – the similarity is striking. The situation in the country allows a political party seen as a marginal one by the majority of population ride the wave of discontent to become a major political actor. It comes to power and establishes a dictatorship. Formally President von Hindenburg led the country, but the members of the National Socialist German Workers Party held all key government positions. Germany quickly turned into a totalitarian state. The same thing is taking place in Ukraine. Top government officials connive at advocates of Nazi ideology who grab all key positions. Only yesterday the Ukrainian Nazi were viewed as a marginal force and today they spread their views to make the ideology of national socialism permeate all aspects of public life...

Poland: Turn of History Through Camera Lenses

The documentary film True Story. Sharp Turn in Polish History by Radik Kudoyarov hit the silver screen five years after it was shot (Ren TV, August 2, 2014). A word said or a film shot never fade away without a trace. The current events related to the fascist junta coming to power in Ukraine and the sanctions the West imposed on Russia, which opposes the ulcer of Nazism and xenophobia emerged in the heart of Europe, as well as the unseemly role of Poland negatively affecting the situation, have made the story described by the filmmakers relevant again. The film is as acute as ever today, it has become even more important for understanding what is actually happening in Eastern Europe...

Siding with Kiev US and EU Support Nazism

...Today it must be stated clearly that European and US politicians, who support the Kiev regime, act as Nazi supporters. The international community cannot turn a blind eye on the fact that the programs of Svoboda and Trizub groups represented in the interim government, envision the establishment of Nazi dictatorship, as well as ethnic and racial cleansing.  The regime brought to power by the putsch has made the revival of Nazism its goal. Judging from many official statements, the US and leading European states support this policy.

Brussels’ Eastern Frontier: Pruth, Dnjepr, or Don?

...History does not repeat itself. What nevertheless seems to be a repetition is the functionalization of radical anti-Russian, right-wing movements for Western geopolitical and economic interests. Since the Ukrainian President Yanukovych refused to sign the so-called Association Agreement with the European Union on the Vilnius summit in November 2013, Brussels puts new pressure on Kyiv; and therefore uses old alliances. The exploitation of radical right-wing local elements for Western interests can also be seen in other cases in contemporary history. Just remember the breaking apart of Yugoslavia in the 1990s, when Berlin and Brussels – later with the help of Washington – dynamized inner conflicts to civil war and foreign intervention... The current Ukrainian scenario looks spooky similar. The West is well aware of using fascists, who would not be tolerated in his own sphere, to manage a regime-change in Kyiv...

GMO-colonization of Ukraine

Powerful Western corporations want to make Ukraine the largest GMO (genetically modified organisms) grower. As time goes by, genetically modified organisms can become a poison to take away many human lives. This fact is ignored. Europe does not need GMO (the production is strictly limited there). Ukraine could very well become a test ground for GMO crops in Europe, something the rest of the European Union has been looking to prevent. Monsanto, an American multinational agromultinational and agricultural biotechnology corporation, is now moving in on Ukraine with plans to institute GMOs nationwide...
