Syria: Strike Probability Increases as Chemical Disarmament Proceeds

...The process of Syria’s chemical weapons elimination is making headway fully in accordance with the plan worked out by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. The United Nations Secretary General said the Geneva-2 talks are to kick off on January 22 (8). The fact that the plan is being successfully implemented evokes fury among those, who, as before, rely exclusively on the use of force and toppling the SyriPresident as the ways to solve the issue...

Aggression Against Libya: Looking at Past and Outlook for Future (II)

In Libya the so-called rebels committed mass crimes and atrocities. These findings are confirmed by the UN Independent Commissionof Inquiryon Libya... Everything that we saw in Libya is being repeated in Syria. The report by the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Syrian Arab Republic  adduces testimony to gross violations of international humanitarian law by the rebels, no matter the report tries to vindicate their actions...The use of chemical weapons by rebels proves the fact that they are guilty of mass atrocities punishable by international law. The United States and other states which provide assistance to them are to be held accountable for these activities in accordance with international law...

The International Justice System and the Hunt for Africans

The summer of 2013 was a hot one for Nigeria, and not just in terms of the weather. On the one hand, the country's populace and government have been subjected to new and increasingly violent attacks from terrorist groups, first and foremost from Boko Haram. On the other hand, Nigeria is experiencing massive pressure from the International Criminal Court, international human rights organizations and the local fifth column. This synchronized attack comes amid the destabilization of a number of neighboring countries...

Terror Acts in US: Who Gains? (II)

Anton Chekhov, a great Russian writer, has once said «If in Act I you have a pistol hanging on the wall, then it must fire in the last act». If a country, like the United States churns out a number of contingency laws, then one day a contingency will really occur. The more US state debt grows, the more currency collapse becomes real and the chances the country would become an authoritarian state go up... The Patriot Act of 2001 was a laying stone of a legal foundation for future dictatorial rule...

About Somali pirates and not only about them

Marine transportation accounts for 90% of all international trade transportation in the world, so therefore piracy has become a threat to world trade. In the first 10 months of 2012, 291 attacks have been made on ships... Piracy off the coast of Somalia occurs for a range of reasons, but the resolution adopted by the UN Security Council is not eliminating any of them... As it turns out, even in the UN Security Council there are patrons of pirates: the representative of the Russian Federation, Vitaly Churkin, said bluntly that the proposal to impose sanctions on the pirate leaders «does not find support from some members of the Security Council»...

«The Liberation of Mali», or the concept of military intervention

The situation in Mali is becoming ever more dramatic. The regime that has established itself in the north of the country (considering the configuration of the borders of the country, «north» is around two thirds of its territory) has taken an extremely brutal form. Today this is a place of savage violence... They have their reasons for capturing the north of Mali. Here, near Kigali, there happens to be the largest airport in the whole of West Africa, (built by the way, with the help of Soviet specialists) which can take the heaviest airplanes. Such planes are trafficking drugs from Latin America for distribution through Guinea Bissau and other African coastal states...

Hissen Habre Trial: “Extradite or Prosecute”

On July 20 the UN International Court of Justice ruled on the case of former President of the Republic of Chad  Hissen Habre, who is in exile in Senegal. According to the ruling this country must either extradite him to Belgium or begin trial proceedings immediately... Africa is refused the right to consider its cases independently...Finally, the so called “universal jurisdiction” is given green light. The July 20 precedent lays down a foundation for “punishment” of one state by any other even if the last one has no relation to the case.

European Killers Enjoy Fascist «Safari» in Ukraine

The self-defense forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic reported the elimination of two enemy’s block posts in the area of Donetsk in the first half of July. According to their Minister of Defense Igor Strelkov, one of them was defended by people in NATO combat fatigue who were foreign passport holders.  It’s not only the hired personnel of Western private military contractors who do their job by killing for money. There are also people who go to Ukraine to get pleasure and are ready to pay for it. Stan Patton, soldier of fortune, Blackwater, shares a quotation in his Twitter saying what the prices are: a shot of howitzers - $ 100 from the tank - $ 200, a shot in the village is priced at U.S. $ 350...
