The Great Nicaraguan Canal, or the Chinese puzzle for America

The idea of building an interoceanic canal through Nicaragua, similar to the Panama Canal but deeper and wider, has inspired the Nicaraguans for decades... In July 2012, the National Assembly of Nicaragua passed a law prepared by the government «On the legal status of the Great Interoceanic Canal and the creation of its management structure»... It has become known that the project’s investor is Empresa Desarrolladora de Grandes Infraestructuras S.A. (EDGISA). The Authority of the Great Interoceanic Canal and EDGISA have signed a contract with the Chinese company HK Nicaragua Canal Development Investment, which has been given the authority to develop the project... The operator company HKND Group Holdings Limited, which was registered on the Cayman Islands in November 2012, is managed by experienced Chinese businessman Wang Jing, who enjoys support at the highest state level...

Daniel Ortega a Favorite in Nicaragua's Coming Race for Presidency

Nicaragua's liberal elite is predictably concerned that Ortega will manage to retain presidency in the coming elections... Ortega mercilessly criticizes the US tendency to spread capitalism by force across the world, Washington's “wasteful spendings” on wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya, and the US blockade of Cuba which already counts over four decades. Ortega, by the way, says that the US plans to turn NATO might against Russia and warns that the network of NATO bases around Russia is being created to induce the country's partition similar to the demise of the USSR...

Truth Is Washington’s Enemy

US Representative Ed Royce (R, CA) is busy at work destroying the possibility of truth being spoken in the US.  On April 15 at a hearing before the House Committee on Foreign Affairs of which Royce is chairman, Royce made use of two minor presstitutes to help him redefine all who take exception to Washington’s lies as  «threats» who belong to a deranged pro-Russian propaganda cult. Washington’s problem is that whereas Washington controls the print and TV media in the US and its vassal states in Europe, Canada, Australia, Ukraine, and Japan, Washington does not control Internet sites, such as this one...
