John Kerry – Inspirer of Cuban Opposition

The official ceremony opening the U.S. Embassy in Havana took place on August 14. US State Secretary John Kerry attended the event. He was in spotlight that day. It could not have been otherwise. In recent years the State Department led by Secretary Kerry has achieved little to be proud of regarding its Latin America’s policy. Now a promising diplomatic breakthrough is looming as the relations with Cuba have been restored at the embassy level. In January 1961 the US flag was lowered to be taken away from Havana by US diplomats after then President Dwight Eisenhower took a decision to break the relations with the revolutionary Cuba. Now the Stars and Stripes moved up the flagpole again accompanied by the sound of US national anthem...

Is Washington Coming To Its Senses?

There is much speculation about US Secretary of State John Kerry’s rush visit to Russia in the wake of Russia’s successful Victory Day celebration on May 9. ...The celebration in Moscow made it clear that Washington has failed miserably to isolate Russia.  What Washington has done is to make the BRICS more unified. With the President of China sitting at the right hand of Putin, the celebration also made it completely clear even to the morons in the Obama regime that Washington is no longer the Uni-power.

Kerry’s Message to Somalia: Beef up Military

Secretary of State John Kerry came off, once again, sounding like «Johnny One Note» on the first-ever visit by an American Secretary of State to Somalia. In his short three hour meeting with Somali leaders, including Somalia’s ineffective and powerless president, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, Kerry was confined to a sandbag-fortified security bivouac at Mogadishu airport because the Somali government has no control over its own capital city...

Partner or Pariah? Kerry Calls Lavrov for Help

Reading the Western news media is like swimming in a goldfish bowl. News one day gives way to some other transient story the next, and so on and on... To illustrate: one of the most bizarre – unwittingly bizarre – recent news reports was how US Secretary of State John Kerry made an urgent call to Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov. Kerry reportedly needed Lavrov for help in clinching a breakthrough in the deadlocked nuclear negotiations with Iran...

Obama’s Iran Policy Close to Failure

The next round of talks on Iran’s nuclear program is scheduled on March 15-20 with final agreement to be reached till March 24. This is a very dubious prospect... French President Francois Hollande openly says France does not approve the unilateral concessions that, to his mind, Washington is ready to make. According to Hollande, the number of centrifuges to be used by Iran for uranium enrichment under the US version of the agreement is «unacceptable»... The ten-year long effort may end up in deadlock...

Kerry Re-writes History of U.S. Support for Color Revolutions

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry either has a blind spot when it comes to the last 15 years of U.S. foreign policy or he told a big whopping lie in Geneva. Kerry, in defining U.S. action in Ukraine, said that «We [the United States] are not involved in multiple color revolutions». Someone in Kerry’s position should know better...

Europe Wary of US ‘All Options’ Threat to Russia

...Everyone except the gung-ho Americans and the swivel-eyed neo-Nazi Kiev junta realise that a stepwise increase in US weapons to Ukraine would mark a rubicon moment, where the US is piling into open war on Russia’s vital interests. While Merkel and Hollande were earnestly endeavouring to find a peaceful way out of the impasse with Putin, it was apparent that a significant divergence between Europe and Washington had emerged...

Kerry Cementing Covert Deal of U.S. Arms Flow to Ukraine

...U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is arriving in the Ukrainian capital to obviously «seal the deal» on American «lethal defensive weapons» and military advisers being sent to Ukraine to help it battle self-determination seekers in the Donbass region. Although Kerry said in Kiev that the U.S. will not provide weapons to Ukraine, he is either naïve or lying about previous U.S. arms shipments to the Kiev authorities...

Rafael Correa – Hugo Chavez’s Political Successor

...Many in Latin America believe that after Hugo Chavez, Rafael Correa became America’s main target. Correa’s decision to close the US air base at Manta was taken particularly badly by Washington. The agreement on its use expired in 2009, and Correa announced that the contract would not be extended. Washington was asked to open an Ecuadorian base in the US on a reciprocal basis. «That’s not how we do things», replied the US State Department. Ecuador’s response came immediately: «In which case, there will not be a US military base in Ecuador either»... Rafael Correa has no intention of changing his country’s foreign policy, which is geared towards Latin American integration, the development of a multipolar world, and the maintenance of close relations with countries like China and Russia. For these reasons, John Kerry’s visit to Ecuador, which has been rumoured in the media all year, will not take place.

The Kerry-Abdullah Secret Deal Oil-Gas Pipeline: War on Iran, Syria and Russia

The details are emerging of a new secret and quite stupid Saudi-US deal on Syria and the so-called IS. It involves oil and gas control of the entire region and the weakening of Russia and Iran by Saudi Arabian flooding the world market with cheap oil. Details were concluded in the September meeting by US Secretary of State John Kerry and the Saudi King.  The unintended consequence will be to push Russia even faster to turn east to China and Eurasia.

Cultural Imperialism and Perception Management: How Hollywood Hides US War Crimes

There is an unspoken, yet very clear, bond between Hollywood and the US government that overtly supports US foreign policy. The movie industry in Hollywood has been active in hiding US war crimes and sanitizing the US military campaigns in NATO-garrisoned Afghanistan, Anglo-American occupied Iraq, and elsewhere in the world. Moreover, the dominance of Hollywood as a tool of cultural imperialism in Europe and the rest of the world make Hollywood films an excellent tool for getting Washington’s ideas out internationally and sedating global audiences with misleading narratives...
