How to Counter America’s Digital Hegemony

Thanks to the consistent and thoughtful policy of supporting high-tech sectors of the economy, in China they have done what for a long time seemed impossible: they have forced American IT corporations out of the domestic market and now are actively buying them up. Today such Chinese brands as ZTE or Huawei have become synonyms of success and power which are feared by all in the West.In its content production policy, China holds to two simple principles.Bloggers call the first principle "block and clone", which means "smart censorship". Its main distinction from "dumb censorship" is that the state, when blocking access to a foreign platform, immediately provides the possibility to use one just like it, but national. ...The second principle is to identify a set of key topics which, in the opinion of the Chinese leadership, could have a destabilizing effect on the country's life...

From Bilderberg to Google-Berg: The Technocratic Restructuring of the Global Elite

World events are showing more and more clearly that the most important goals of the world elite are the total restructuring of human consciousness and even changing the essence of humans. In fact, this is both the end and the means of building a «new world order». The last meeting of the Bilderberg Group, which took place on June 6-9, 2013 at the Grove Hotel in a London suburb, was especially telling in this regard...

US Expands Global Electronic Surveillance

...The U.S. government’s counterterrorism policies appear to have gone too far, especially if one adds the going-on debates on the legality of drone attacks abroad and the use of remote control air vehicles for spying on US citizens inside the country or the Home Security Department filling ammunition storages for emergency situations. The Patriot Act has no chance of being recalled soon, if ever. One row related to covert activities of US special services follows another. The Snowden’s revelations have complicated the relations with the outside world, including the closest allies. The country’s image abroad is down to low ebb. With all this in mind, it is really funny to hear US politicians pontificating about human rights with their incurable propensity to teach others instead of looking at what’s happening in their own backyard...

Democracy in America Today (II)

The fundamental political rights of Americans in today's society, not only are not exempt from elements of an archaic character, but they have become even more vulnerable, and even more manipulated... Elections arouse the most criticism. The U.S. president is still not elected by direct popular election, and instead by Electoral College. Many rightly believe this system to be obsolete and undemocratic... Down to this system, three times in the history of the U.S., the President elected has been a candidate with fewer votes than his opponent (the last time was George W. Bush in 2000)...

Google following CIA's path in confronting Iran

The American web giant Google has recently fueled an anti-Iranian campaign by removing the name of Persian Gulf from its online maps and Google Earth plans. No Google official was ready to give comments on this questionable move, and Iranians are still wondering what motives have caused the American company to take such a thoughtless action...

NATO and US Special Services Beachhead in Colombia

Colombia wanted to cooperate with NATO on Afghanistan. It was in the plans. In 2009, the Colombian Government asked to be part of the ISAF (the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan) and work with the Spanish contingent in the mine detection operations, but this didn't materialize due to the internal conflict that Colombia faced... Then President Alvaro Uribe considered the fact that his country was invited to take part in the fight against the Taliban as substantiation to claim the status of US Latin American privileged partner... The US has strong military presence in Colombia under the pretext of fighting drug trafficking and guerilla formations...
