The Hillary Doctrine: «We Came, We Saw, They Died»

Those who argue that the so-called «Obama Doctrine» on foreign policy has been amorphous and conflicting, at best, see the prospects of a Hillary Clinton administration as even more damaging to U.S. foreign policy... Not only were the most notable failures of Obama’s foreign policy a direct result of Mrs. Clinton’s saber-rattling and brinkmanship on the world stage, but her willingness to engage in operations paralleling the themed revolution mania of George Soros has many diplomats worried that a Hillary Clinton administration, with her husband as «roving ambassador», will see more foolhardy interventionist American adventurism...

Hillary Clinton – the ‘Liberal’ Puppet for War

Hillary Clinton this week launched her bid for the US presidential elections in 2016. Among the copious coverage in Western media was the small but highly significant detail: her presidential campaign will have a war chest of $2.5 billion. The former US Senator and Secretary of State is said to have a personal net worth of between $50-100 million. However, if she is selected by the Democratic party to make a run for the White House most of her presidential campaign will be bankrolled by corporations and super-wealthy backers like financier George Soros through his Democracy Alliance foundation. That alone tells where her political loyalties and priorities lie...

Hillary Clinton is the grandmother of the Islamic Caliphate

Hillary Clinton is fond of changing history in order to put herself in the best possible light. As First Lady, she claimed that in 1996 that she dodged sniper fire while visiting Sarajevo, the capital of civil war-torn Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was a good story and, initially, she received praise for her «heroism under fire» from a typically sycophantic press. However, the story was false. Mrs. Clinton never came under sniper fire. She lied. And the lies of the one-time and prospective presidential candidate did not stop with Bosnia. According to one person close to the ex-First Lady, her first major book, «Living History», was full of so many lies and half-truths, it should have been sold under the heading of «fiction»...

The resurrection of the neocons

Like proverbial «bad pennies», many of the leading neo-conservative architects of America’s failed interventions in Iraq and Afghanistan are being hauled back in front of television news cameras to comment on the current predicament that Washington finds itself with a surging «Al Qaeda» spinoff attempting to seize control of eastern Syria and western and northern Iraq and transform the area into a radical Islamic «caliphate»... The resurrection of the neo-cons would not be possible without the complicity of their enablers in the corporate media...

Kerry Brings Image of Dapper Diplomacy to Ugly Face of Washington’s Imperialism

Any illusions about a possible change in direction for American foreign policy were blown away this week with Kerry’s visit to Europe. And it was Kerry himself who blew away such illusions with his own words. The US secretary of state may have sounded multi-lingual and looked urbane in his pinstripe suit, with all its hints of diplomacy, but what he had to say on the issues of Iran and Syria, and by extension Russia, revealed Kerry to be a consistent operator of the same openly militarist agenda that has become such a hallmark of post-9/11 Washington...

Kerry’s Southeast Asia war experience and U.S. - China ties

The United States has invited Myanmar to participate in military exercises in the region... The U.S. and India also conduct an annual joint special operations exercise called Yudh Abhyas 2012. The last was held in the desert of Rajasthan near the Pakistani border and there was little doubt about the identity of the fictitious country being attacked in Operation Desert Lark. The U.S. and Indian armed forces have conducted joint jungle warfare training as part of exercise Balance Iroquois at the Indian Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School in Vairengte in Mizoram, northeastern India. The exercises have not only involved U.S. and Indian troops, but also those from Bhutan, Bangladesh, Singapore, Nepal, and Israel. And in a move that threatens to inflame China, the U.S. military exercises have included members of the Indian Special Frontier Force, ethnic Tibetans who engage in counter-intelligence activities within historical Tibet, which extends beyond the borders of the Tibetan Autonomous region of China...

Iran in the strategic plans of the U.S.

The Iranian issue, which had been pushed aside under the shadow of the U.S. presidential campaign, has once again come to the forefront. On November 30th, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated that «the U.S. administration is open to bilateral talks with Iran if Tehran will show a similar willingness to do so»... On November 17 The Washington Post published an article by Henry Kissinger « Iran must be President Obama’s immediate priority», in which, among the most important challenges facing the U.S. president and the one most demanding an urgent solution, he specified stopping Iran's nuclear program...

Israeli Сrimes Expose US Arab Despots

American Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s hasty diplomatic shuttle from Southeast Asia to the Middle East this week can be seen as reflecting Washington’s priority to shore up stability in the region. It is a deep apprehension to maintain a shaky status quo that motivates Washington’s concern, not negotiating an end to appalling violence and human suffering in Gaza...

EU Autumn Marathon

...The reasons for the growing solidarity in the Washington - Brussels – London triangle, seems to be associated with a growing schism within the EU of the Anglo-Saxon and Franco-German camps. Primarily the catalyst for the split is a dispute about the way out of the financial and economic crisis. Speaking in geopolitical terms, it is a struggle in the concept of the "strong" and "weak" in Europe...

Hillary Clinton’s Plan for PATO to replace NATO

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s first-ever attendance by a Secretary of State at the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) in the Cook Islands capital of Avarua on Rarotonga has international observers wondering about the Obama administration’s plans to extend the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) deep into the Pacific Ocean, as well as into South East Asia... Clinton was accompanied by some 60 other lower-ranking U.S. diplomatic, military, and intelligence officials in Rarotonga. After the Cook Islands stop, the delegation’s itinerary included Brunei, East Timor, Indonesia and China before a final stop to attend the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Vladivostok...

The peacekeeping mission has been carried out in the region by Russian peacekeeping forces for more than 20 years... The plan to push Russian peacekeepers out from Transnistria is being implemented...
