Is Latin America’s ‘Pink Tide’ Ebbing?

Many in Official Washington still consider Latin America their “backyard,” a place where U.S. interests rule and where leftist and reformist governments have historically faced “regime change” tactics. But the region has finally broken from U.S. control and isn’t ready to go back, reports Andrés Cala.

Soros and CIA Suffer Huge Defeat in Brazil

The Central Intelligence Agency and its George Soros-funded «democracy manipulators» in Brazil suffered a major defeat with the re-election as president of Brazil of Workers’ Party standard bearer and ex-Marxist guerrilla Dilma Rouseff... With Rousseff now re-elected, the BRICS will continue to develop the New Development Bank (NDB) and its $100 billion currency reserve arrangement (CRA), or currency basket, that member countries can loans draw from, thus weaning themselves away from the Western political controls of the World Bank and IMF. Rousseff’s re-election will also permit BRICS, which faced losing Brazil as a member had Rousseff lost the election, to expand its membership base...

Soros and the CIA Now Banking on Neves to Defeat Rousseff

After the corporate media and the CIA and George Soros manipulators tried to engineer Green Party-turned-Brazilian Socialist presidential candidate Marina Silva into the Brazilian presidency after the classic CIA textbook aerial assassination of Socialist Party presidential standard bearer Eduardo Campos, these same forces are at it again on behalf of Social Democratic Party candidate Aecio Neves... Neves’s chief economic adviser and the man who would become Finance Minister in a Neves presidency is Arminio Fraga Neto. A former close friend and associate of Soros and his Quantum hedge fund, Fraga is hoping that a Neves presidency will open up Brazil to “market forces,” the very same forces that have declared economic war on Venezuela and are attempting to swindle Argentina through vulture funds run by Soros’s Wall Street friends...

Brazil under CIA Pressure

Over two thousand Brazilian political activists, intellectuals, people of art and culture signed a manifest on October 26 highlighting the hostile actions of Washington aimed at prevention of Dilma Rousseff election victory. The document is posted to social nets. It says the coming to power of Aécio Neves of the Brazilian Social Democracy Party (Partido da Social Democracia Brasileira - PSDB), who serves the interests of tycoons, will inflict irreparable damage to the country and take away all the snags on the way of US direct interference into the Brazilian internal affairs. Neves is to play the role of obedient tool in the hands of US administration. Washington goes to any length to achieve its goal and bring the desired candidate to power – some things are done covertly, some tricks are resorted to in a clandestine way...

Presidential Race in Brazil: Neoliberals in a Bid to Get Revenge

The pre-election campaign in Brazil has become even more sharply contested after the first round of vote on October 5. Marina Silva supported by Washington and the opponents of the incumbent President had to leave the race with only 21,3 % of votes. Dilma Rousseff, the left-wing Workers Party candidate (41,1 %) will face off Aécio Neves, the candidate from the Brazilian Social Democracy Party (33,7 %), in the run-off election on October 26. The candidates face an uphill battle. Neves is supported by US and West European information agencies. He opposes the policy that has been implemented during the recent 12 years by the ruling Workers Party...

Dilma Rousseff and Her Optimistic Smile

Western media was unanimous saying Dilma Rousseff used the high podium of 69th General Assembly of the United Nations for election campaign purposes as a presidential race hopeful... Dilma said that according to FAO (the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) her country defeated hunger, “A few days ago FAO announced that Brazil is no longer in the World Hunger Map”. The lack of foodstuffs has become a thing of the past. This transformation was the result of economic policies which generated 21 million jobs and appreciated the minimum wage, increasing its purchasing power by 71%. Thirty six million Brazilians have been lifted out of extreme poverty to enjoy normal life...These and other achievements should be made remember by the 142 million voters who will define the Brazil’s policy for the next four years in October.

CIA-Supported Candidate Runs for Presidency in Brazil

The US relationship with Brazil has worsened recently as a result of eavesdropping scandal. The US National Security Agency (NSA) spied on Dilma Rousseff and the members of her cabinet. The Brazilian President... has condemned the NSA and CIA activities in Latin America and taken steps to enhance communications safety and tighten control over US representatives working in the country. It provoked exasperation on the part of Barack Obama.  The presidential election in Brazil is slated for October 5. Washington wants to make Dilma Rousseff a one term president. US special services launched a campaign aimed at getting rid of the current Brazilian leader...

All Factors Point to CIA Aerially Assassinating Brazilian Presidential Candidate

The plane crash that killed Brazilian presidential candidate Eduardo Campos, who was running in second place behind incumbent President Dilma Rousseff, has severely harmed Rousseff’s chances for re-election. Campos’s successor on the ticket, former Green Party leader Marina Silva, a George Soros puppet, now stands a very good chance of unseating Rousseff in an expected run-off election. Rousseff’s defeat would signal a victory for the Obama administration’s covert activities to eliminate from the scene progressive presidents throughout Latin America...

Another Suspicious Plane Crash in Latin America Bolsters American and Globalist Interests

Brazil’s scheduled October presidential election was seen as a virtual cake walk for incumbent President Dilma Rousseff. That was until a plane crash killed Rousseff’s rather lackluster opponent, economist and former governor of Pernambuco, Eduardo Campos. On August 13, it was reported that the plane carrying Campos, a Brazilian pro-business centrist presidential candidate who was running third behind the more conservative Social Democratic Party candidate Aecio Neves, an economist and champion of austerity, crashed into a residential area of Santos in Sao Paulo state, Brazil...

70 Years Dividing Bretton Woods Conference and Fortaleza Decisions

This July the world marks the 70 years anniversary of Bretton Woods Conference, formally known as the United Nations Monetary and Financial Conference... As 70 years since Bretton Woods have passed, a heavy blow was delivered against international financial institutions. The attack came from the resort city of Fortaleza in Brazil. Although the theme of the summit was “social inclusion”, at the top of the agenda is the creation of two new entities controlled entirely by the five BRICS members. The Bank is setup to foster greater financial and development cooperation among the five emerging markets. It would be headquartered in Shanghai, China and the first chief executive will come from India. The New Development Bank (NDB) will fund development projects independent of the US-controlled World Bank, and the Contingent Reserve Arrangement (CRA) will provide relief from the austere conditions and requirements of the IMF...

A Clean Break is Needed (I)

The ghastly attack on an army school in Peshawar last Tuesday appears to be a topping point, finally, in Pakistan’s existential struggle with terrorism. Will the Pakistani leadership rise to the challenge? An equally daunting challenge awaits the policymakers in New Delhi. How does the Indian leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi respond to the watershed event of last week in Peshawar?..
