Pentagon's Subversive Geostrategic Activity in Latin America

The U.S. is strengthening its network of military bases in Asia Pacific in anticipation of China's making deeper inroads into the region... Chavez bluntly said that the UNASUR jump to unity over the common defensive doctrine was inspired by the Libyan and other dramas provoked by U.S. interventions. Indeed, there are absolutely no reasons to believe that the Libyan scenario will not some day materialize in Latin America.

Expansion of UNSC: An Imperative

Can one of the most powerful world bodies be expanded to respond to the needs of the emerging world order? Lots of debates have taken place in this context. Countries all over the globe do not deny this emerging imperative, but the crucial question then rises why this has not been realized? As deliberated in the 8th intergovernmental meeting of the United Nations last week, the G-4 (Brazil, India, Germany and Japan) countries further reiterated their demand to expand the crucial body or the world has to confront the challenges at its ‘own peril’...

Soros's Virus Sneaking Into the Open Government Partnership

The first annual conference of the Open Government Partnership, an international group set up in New York by the U.S., Great Britain, Canada, Norway, Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, the Philippines, and South Africa in September, 2011, will open in Brazil on April 17, 2012... The countries which join the partnership and subscribe to what might be perceived as completely rational commitments to fight corruption and to empower the civil society vis-a-vis the bureaucracy unwittingly end up being controlled or heavily influenced by the organizations with the reputations of U.S. “soft power” instruments...

BRICS: Going Strong to Change the World Scene

The agreement to explore in greater detail the establishment of a BRICS Development Bank (South-South Bank) and an Infrastructure Investment Fund is an issue of special importance... An agreement to replace the US dollar by own currencies in mutual credit lines is a great achievement of the summit too. The member countries demonstrated a desire to reduce the risks associated with the current economic woes in the United States. Actually it means that BRICS countries are saying that the US economy is currently ineffective and prone to risks...

BRICS – The Basis of Multipolar World

...The new prospects emerging thanks to the BRICS international cooperation pattern may become an alternative to the Anglo-Saxon “global governance” model. It’s quite possible the new pattern may be a harbinger of reshape (if not the end) of the UN as well as the decline and inevitable restructurization of such international bodies as IMF, World Bank and WTO.

CIA: Cancer Experiments with Presidents of Latin America

In a series of his public speeches Hugo Chaves called an “epidemic” of cancer among Latin American presidents a strange and alarming phenomenon. This hard to cure desease was identified in case of Chavez himself, Paraguayan president Fernando Lugo, Dilma Rouseff and Lula da Silva (Brazil), Crisitina Fernandez (Argentina). Al of them are known as left of the center politicians struggling to expedite Latin America’s integration process and to get rid of the US dominance in the Western Hemisphere. Chavez let drop words about empires that go to any length to achieve their goals.

BRICS’ Rising Profile

The rise of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – the last one joined the group last year) within a span of three years since its formal inauguration in Russian city of Yekaterinburg in 2008 is really phenomenal...

The BRICS reality has come to stay

It is possible to exaggerate the substantive outcome of the summit meeting of the BRICS countries last week in Sanya, China, and, equally, it may seem expedient to underplay its meaning and consequence. But three things stand out. First, it is no more possible to ignore the BRICS; simply put, it has come to stay as an enduring feature of the global economic and political architecture. Second, BRICS is unique... Third, it is virtually impossible to duplicate BRICS; you can imitate it, maybe even parody it, but you can never quite replicate it as a geopolitical reality...

BRICS and the Mission of Reconfiguring the World

It is an open secret that the US largely owes its own prosperity as well as the ability to support countries eager to stay in Washington's orbit to the privilege of flooding the world with dollars which, like counterfeit money, totally lack material backing... S. Hussein who banned dollar circulation in all spheres of Iraq's economy including oil trade was displaced and executed and his country was left in ruins. M. Gadhafi started switching Libya's oil and gas business to gold-backed Arab currencies and air raids against the country followed almost immediately...

South America and the Caribbean are the scenario where the BRICS challenge the United States

The bilateral trade agreement of China with Latin America rocketed from US$10 billion in 2000 to US$143.4 billion in 2008. During the first nine months of 2010, there was an increase of 68%, according to the ECLAC. China relies on Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Argentina, and Venezuela as its main trade partners... This leads us to conclude that the times of United States unipolarity are declining, and that after the tsunami that destroyed the neoliberal ideas, Latin America should take advantage of these times of multipolarity and the changes of the economic paradigms...

«Europe’s Hugo Chavez»

Hungarian premier Victor Orban clearly stands in the way of the plans of the global elite for Europe. Hungary’s new constitution which was passed in the spring of 2011 and entered into force on January 1, 2012 unequivocally placed emphasis on Christian legacy and nationhood and was immediately seen as a challenge by the forces of global governance. It happens to be the first constitution in Europe reflecting a radical departure from multiculturalism and the present-day brand of tolerance, which in practice translate into the erosion of national identity and infinite acceptance of moral deviance...
