What is Implied by Weimar Format of Talks on Ukraine?

...It strikes an eye that the United States started to change rhetoric on Ukraine. Before the US advanced its goals at the talks along with the promises to grant new loans. Now it has changed – Kiev is told it won’t be given money anymore. Senator Benjamin Cardin, the Chairman of the U.S. Helsinki Commission, said at the Commission’s session devoted to the fight against corruption that the United States will help Ukraine but provide no money for fraud schemes. This is an intriguing scenario. What will Kiev do under the circumstances? On the one hand, Kiev depends on Washington and has little wiggle room. On the other hand, the Poroshenko and Yatsenyuk groups have cemented their positions and established firm control over the corruption flows during the nine months that have passed since the coup d’état. It’s not that easy to shake their positions...

Ukraine and US Parallel Power

Barack Obama has so far failed to declare an «all-out war» that Poroshenko wants so much, but part of Washington’s establishment has started to create a mechanism of «parallel power» led by ambitious Joe Biden and his team.  Anthony Blinken has the reputation of someone close to Biden. The same way one can call him a member of the Clintons’ retinue. The official likes to state the fact that he comes from a Jewish family of immigrants who have escaped from Communist regime. He is known as a staunch supporter of Israel. It brings him close to the political circles centered on the Nuland-Kagan families...

US: Ukraine’s Chance to Win the Conflict Not Taken Seriously

...The United States does not even consider the possibility of Kiev being a winner in the conflict; its only interest is to keep up the smouldering internal confrontation to result in the attrition of Ukraine and weakening of Russia... Each and every time Vice President Joseph Biden comes to Ukraine (this is the third time he came to visit the country in 2014) the Ukrainian military launch military offensives. That’s what should be expected this time too.

Biden in Kiev on US Regime-Change Victory Tour

US vice president Joe Biden flew into Kiev this week to celebrate the anniversary of the Maidan protests that led to the overthrow of Ukraine’s government. With arms waving and his wife in tow, as he stepped off Air Force One, the spectacle was tantamount to an unctuous victory lap for American regime change in the former Soviet republic. The fact that Biden’s son, Hunter, was also appointed as a board member of Ukrainian gas company Burisma since the regime took over adds a certain personal dimension to the American celebrations of this coup...

US Vice President Biden’s Lies and Misrepresentations Regarding Ukraine and Russia

Almost everything that our Vice President said about Ukraine and Russia, in this speech he delivered at Harvard on October 3rd, is a lie or else out-of-context misrepresentation, as the links here-provided are intended to make clear. Each linked-to source will document the reality that contradicts V.P. Joe Biden’s assertion that’s being linked there.  To see so many lies strung together in just this part of his speech, stuns. My added comments, providing key context that Biden’s speech avoided mentioning, are placed into brackets below, as is this Introduction.

The Outcome of Joe Biden’s Visit to Ukraine

Ukrainian propaganda had tried to portray talks with US Vice-President Joseph Biden as an expression of America’s categorical support of the self-proclaimed Kiev government, but examining the content of the visit more carefully reveals Washington’s growing irritation with its minions in Ukraine. While supporting them for geopolitical reasons, the US is burdened with having to prove the ‘democraticness’ and legitimacy of a regime which, in reality, is neither democratic nor legitimate... The propaganda from Kiev, which separates protests into legal or illegal, contradicts the spirit and letter of the Geneva Declaration, which extends the concept of “de-escalating tensions” throughout the whole of Ukraine...

De-escalation in Ukraine as Seen by Joe Biden (II)

According to the White House statement, the Vice-President Joe Biden’s visit to Ukraine was to demonstrate the support of Ukraine by the United States. Washington realizes the interim government in Kiev is on the verge of collapse. But its fall would be tantamount to a defeat suffered by the United States. Biden landed in Kiev to make the US save face and define the ways to retreat if need be. Under the pretext of global commitments, the White House is focused on the local-scale mission to maintain power in Ukraine in the hands of its puppets...

Preparing Ukraine for a Proxy War with Russia

The BBC reported in their article, “Ukraine crisis: Biden to meet Kiev leaders in show of support,” that: US Vice-President Joe Biden is to meet Ukraine’s new leaders in a show of support for the pro-Western government. Mr Biden is due to discuss the forthcoming elections with the country’s interim prime minister and president during his visit to Kiev. A phone conversation between the US secretary of state and Russia’s foreign minister earlier led to both sides blaming the other over the crisis.

US NGOs in Ukraine – Washington’s Foreign Policy Tools or Biden Visits Kiev (I)

Vice-President John Biden came to Kiev to see with his own eyes how the events unfold in the country. The second part of the article will be devoted to the results of the visit. Here it’s important to state the fact that Ukraine serves as an irritant for Moscow which may turn into its enemy and that’s the only thing Washington needs Ukraine for. The situation in the country has deteriorated to the point of bringing it to the brink of civil war, but Washington does not care. The main thing is to keep the puppet regime in power. Biden is an author of «color revolutions» policy and the person responsible for staging unrest in other countries, for him Ukraine is just another testing ground no different from North Africa...

Joe Biden Wraps-up Asia-Pacific Trip: Rebalancing Policy Going Strong (II)

...2,500 Marines are to be deployed to Australia by 2016. According to the DOD strategic guidance of January 2012 the Pentagon is shifting weapons like the B-1 and B-52 long-range bombers, MV-22 Ospreys and Global Hawk drones to the Pacific from the Middle East and Southwest Asia as the war in Afghanistan winds down. The four US littoral combat ships have started their rotational deployment to Singapore. According to stated plans, the US will have 60 percent of its ships in the Pacific and 40 percent in the Atlantic by 2020, compared with the current 50-50 split...

Financial Market Manipulation Is The New Trend: Can It Continue?

Governments and economists take their hats off to free markets.  Yet, the markets are rigged, not free. ... No country dependent on foreign capital is sovereign.  A country dependent on foreign capital, especially from enemies seeking to subvert the economy, is subject to destabilizing currency and economic swings.  Russia should self-finance. ...The greatest harm that is being done to the Russian economy is not due to sanctions and the US attack on the ruble.  The greatest harm is being done by Russia’s neoliberal economists. Neoliberal economics is not merely incorrect.  It is an ideology that fosters US economic imperialism. ... If Russia is to survive, Putin must protect Russia from Western economic institutions and Western trained economists.
