Russia’s Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) will conduct more than 60 exercises and over 40 training sessions in 2014, RVSN Spokesperson, Colonel Igor Yegorov said.
The RVSN command is thoroughly revising combat training programmes and regulations and updating training methodologies, taking into account new methods of warfare.
“With a view to improving the quality of combat training, the duration of training has been increased to 32 days from this year for personnel performing combat duties at the highest levels of combat readiness on combat patrol routes,” Yegorov said.
