Russia and Belarus have begun to implement bilateral air defense agreements.
According to representatives of Russian Air Defense, the two countries have clinched a number of agreements on creating a joint air defense system.
A Treaty on the creation of a regional missile defense group was signed by President Dmitry Medvedev in 2009 and by Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko in February 2012.
