The former President of Yemen, Ali Abdullah Saleh, has returned to Yemen following a three-week medical treatment in the United States for the injuries he received last summer.
He is due to attend the inauguration of his successor, Abd Rabbuh Mansur al-Hadi, next Monday.
The former President handed over his powers to Mansur al-Hadi in November last year, to end the protracted political crisis in Yemen.
On Friday, the Central Elections Commission of Yemen made public the returns of the sole candidate presidential election, whereby Mansur al-Hadi polled 99.8% of the votes cast.
