More than 300 Syrians were killed in clashes that continued in the country last week, a source in an advisory board to the Arab League said, urging for the withdrawal of observers from Syria.
The board`s chief Ali Salem al-Deqbasi claimed that the League`s mission which started last week has not prevented the authorities from further crackdown on protesters.
The mission is facing much criticism from human rights activists and opposition groups following its statement on ‘stability’ in one of Syria`s most restive cities, Homs.
