Pentagon's Subversive Geostrategic Activity in Latin America

The U.S. is strengthening its network of military bases in Asia Pacific in anticipation of China's making deeper inroads into the region... Chavez bluntly said that the UNASUR jump to unity over the common defensive doctrine was inspired by the Libyan and other dramas provoked by U.S. interventions. Indeed, there are absolutely no reasons to believe that the Libyan scenario will not some day materialize in Latin America.

Argentina Another Country to Brush Off Liberal Dogmas

It was clear a priori that Cristina Fernández de Kirchner's decision to nationalize 51% of Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales (YPF) in which Spain's flagship oil producer Repsol owned a majority stake would trigger an avalanche of condemnations in the West... It should be borne in mind that Latin America was the epicenter of the neoliberal reform that swept across the world in the 1980ies. In the epoch, politicians, the media people, and financial players - a community on the payroll of the Bilderbergers' shadowy world government - eagerly subscribed to the universality of the solution offered by market liberalization...

US Defensive at the Americas Summit

At the insistence of the US and Canadian delegations, the plenary sessions of the sixth Summit of the Americas were insulated from the media, causing the evidently shocked journalists who flocked to Cartagena, Colombia, to sarcastically describe the forum as «secret»... The Columbian police and security service must have felt annoyed by the pushiness of their US colleagues and, as it appeared, did not refrain from paying in kind...

Latin American Perspective on US-Invented Open Government

...There is a strong tendency in Latin America to interpret the advancement of the Open Government Partnership as a subversive operation leading to the infiltration of government agencies across the continent by Washington's NGO “experts” and, ultimately, to the formation of parallel administrations in Latin American countries. In the countries subscribing to the project, the agents will be given the right to influence the official decision-making, to reorient national policies, and to press for appointments of their candidates to government posts. At the bottom line of the Open Government Partnership, the affected nations will see the governance functions in their countries withdrawn from legitimate authorities and passed to the global centers of control.

Latin America under surveillance of US Southcom

Militarization of the US foreign policy on global scale is an obvious fact. It concerns Latin America as much as it concerns other parts of the world... Pentagon is preparing to the radical worsening of the operational situation in the Western hemisphere... Washington seriously takes Teheran’s words about a counterstrike if the US attacks Iran. It is likely that Iran meant “retaliation groups” which could be formed expecting H-hour...

Destabilizing Arsenals Concealed in US Embassies

Outwardly, the U.S. Administration pledges not to resort to military force to displace the ALBA governments in Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Nicaragua, or Cuba, but in reality Washington's efforts to undermine them are a constant background of the continent's political picture... As the fresh experience of Libya showed with utmost clarity, Washington's new brand of color revolutions will - in contrast to the former coups which used to be accompanied with outpourings of pacifist rhetoric - involve ferocious fighting and massive fatalities...

Man-Sacrifice to Detonate Unrest in Venezuela

Reportedly, Hugo Chavez dispatched the director of the Venezuelan security service (Sebin) to meet with the chief bodyguard of Henrique Capriles Radonski, the top opposition candidate in the upcoming presidential elections. The mission of Chavez's envoy was to warn that — as Sebin learned from credible sources in Miami — a plan is brewing to assassinate Radonski... If the plan of the anti-Chavez camp to sacrifice Radonski materializes, Venezuela will see its stability and progress owed to the period of the populist governance irreversibly undermined...

The US and Latin America Drift Apart Over Cuba

The slogan of the VI Summit of the Americas which will convene in Cartagena de Indias (Columbia) on April 14-15 - «Connecting the Americas: Partners for Prosperity» - is intended to sound optimistic... As before, Washington made sure that no invitation on the occasion was sent to Havana... The US will be confronted at the summit with an array of pro-Cuban demands upheld by the ALBA, SELAC, and UNASUR countries and with calls to lift the blockade as required by U.N. resolutions... Latin American politicians regardless of their views are switching to Havana's side in the US-Cuban conflict.

Laws vs. Color Revolutions in Latin America

At present, all forms of foreign support for Venezuelan NGO's are outlawed... By the law, Venezuelan NGO leaders caught getting money from abroad lose the right to engage in political activities for a term of five to eight years. The right to take part in electoral campaigns can be revoked or serious measures of fiscal character are applicable for repeated offense. The law includes specific provisions – a combination of large fines and deportation - for foreigners invited to Venezuela by NGOs and publicly expressing disregard for the Venezuelan government institutions or statesmen...

Zionists Attack Chavez

Recently the Venezuelan opposition convened primaries to nominate its presidential hopeful. The contest was convincingly won by Henrique Capriles Radonski, 40, a typical offshoot of a wealthy and privileged Jewish clan... As a youngster, Radonski was an activist of a rightist sect known as Tradición, Familia y Propiedad (Tradition, Family and Property)", and later took part in building, with the CIA financial support and in concert with his TFP colleagues, the oppositional Primero Justicia party. Radonski's political extremism became manifest during the April, 2002 anti-Chavez coup... At the moment Radonski, backed by the US and Israel, is bracing for the role of a killer of Chavez's regime...

Germany: The Parties Trial of Strength

The North Rhine-Westphalia elections continued a series of failures of Christian Democratic Union / Christian Social Union at local elections that actually started since the last Bundestag election in September 2009. The loss of votes by the Christian Democrats each time regional elections take place has become a steady tendency... the election result can be considered as a proof of discontent caused by austerity budget that the government of Angela Merkel advocates...
