The Independent Kosovo: Gangland Spills Savagery Worldwide (II)

The Euro-Atlantic blueprint for the future of South East Europe gives a big role to the criminal enclave called the Republic of Kosovo. It is to become a base of world-level organized crime, and that is already happening. Drug supply to Europe, illicit organs extraction and trafficking, campaigns of terror against the resident populations and ethnic cleansing are hallmarks of the Kosovo independence which sends criminal metastases all over Europe while it stays under a delusion that its civilization standards are intact...

Turn in Saudi Foreign Policy Imminent?

Saudi Arabia may experience another lurch into change as another of the kingdom’s aging royal leaders is, according to news reports, seriously ill. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal al Saud is reportedly sidelined by a terminal medical condition and foreign affairs responsibilities are being turned over to his deputy, Prince Abdulaziz Bin Abdullah al Saud... Abdulaziz is representing Saudi Arabia at the NATO-maligned Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit in Tehran scheduled for August 30-31. Abdulaziz’s presence in Tehran is in direct contravention of the wishes of Saudi Arabia’s NATO allies coordinating the largely Saudi- and Qatari-financed insurgency against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad...

Ecuador Shields Assange from the Revengeful Empire

Stockholm has long pledged assistance to Obama's Administration in arranging for Assange to stand trial in the US for having put tens of thousands of US Department of State and Pentagon documents on display in Internet. Assange's legal counsel in the US M. Ratner says a group was set up in Virgina in 2010 under the oversight of the Grand Jury to analyze the materials released by WikiLeaks and to eventually implicate the outlet chief in a conspiracy to communicate defense-related information to unauthorized recipients. The code of the case – the sinister 10/3/793 – stands for conspiracy and espionage, which may entail death penalty...

Mexico: «So far from God, So Close to the United States»

«Poor Mexico, so far from God and so close to the United States!». Those words said by Mexican President Porfirio Diaz (1830-1915) will remain acute as long as the US politicians are still faithful to the ideas of Anglo-Saxon expansionism... Let’s draw parallels with the so called «Circassian issue». The comparisons are more than propitious once Washington is dissatisfied with the existing borders between the «Circassian republics» of the Russian Federation... Washington demands Russia immediately let in several hundred thousand Circassians from Syria, Jordan, Israel, Turkey and other countries because historically they come from the Caucasus...

US Plan for a Base in Uzbekistan to Materialize?

...No doubt, Moscow would be confronted with a situation calling for a  tougher than ever strategy if the Operative Reaction Center – a US military base to stay indefinitely in the post-Soviet space regarding which Russia has serious ambitions - pops up in Uzbekistan. Picking up after several makeshift bases narrowly geared to supply the Western coalition in Afghanistan, the facility would come as a slap in the face to Moscow, a humiliation comparable to what Washington would have experienced seeing Russia install a military base in Mexico, Nicaragua, or Cuba...

DRC and ICC: New Developments

On 17 th August 2012 counsel for several Rwandan and Congolese (DRC) political and civil organizations, delivered a complaint to the Prosecutor of the ICC concerning crimes allegedly committed by the current President of Rwanda Paul Kagame which are within the jurisdiction of the ICC... Kagame is an example of an American supported leader whose crimes go unpunished because he is useful to them and because they are party to his crimes. The Prosecutors of the ICTR have wasted 17 years protecting Kagame from his responsibility for the crimes he and his forces committed in Rwanda in 1994. The consequence has been a continuation of those crimes into the Congo, drowning the Great Lakes region of Africa in blood...

A Road Show for Turkmen Gas

The Turkmenistan - Afghanistan - Pakistan - India gas pipeline project [TAPI] is being taken out of its region for a Road Show in the West in September, prospecting for eligible suitors who would be interested to get engaged with it. The Asian Development Bank has been designated as the Transaction Advisor for the road show, which is proposed for September 10-20. The ADB will organize the ‘road show’ in the major financial hubs like Singapore, London and New York... The United States has voiced enthusiasm for the ‘road show’. “Many American companies are very interested in participating,” US assistant secretary of state for South and Central Asia Robert Blake said during his recent regional tour of Central Asia...

Washington to the American People: «Sorry, No Presidential Campaign for You»

...In effect, the message from the 2012 presidential election to the population is: tune out. Consequently, disenchantment with Washington will persist. But disengagement from politics may not. The impotence of the political system to curtail the excesses of inequality, environmental degradation, and other pathologies in the US version of capitalism has become clearer than ever over the last four years. Non-violent, direct action politics is likely to grow from the seed of last year's Occupy Wall Street movement. And the new front for direct action seems likely to be environmental policy, a theme we intend to explore soon in this forum.

Tensions Run High in Asia-Pacific Before APEC Summit in Vladivostok (II)

A U.S.-China tug-of-war over Southeast Asian influence is proving to be a critical test for Washington's "pivot" East as Beijing strengthens its economic and military clout in its own backyard. On June 28 a Chinese Defense Ministry statement said that the United States' reinforcement of military deployment in the Asia-Pacific is not conducive to security and mutual trust in the region... the Pacific is the place where 95% of the world’s ballistic missile capabilities are located... Russia, China, India and other states could elaborate new security architecture in the region avoiding European bloc politics and hard-power approach to international politics. The time is now and the place to start is Vladivostok.

The British Siege of the Ecuadorian Embassy: London is Following What the US has Already Done

... In regard to British threats to storm the Ecuadorian Embassy to the United Kingdom in London, the focus should not be Julian Assange, the controversial founder of WikiLeaks. The real focus of the British government’s threats should be on something much bigger and more important than one man. The real issue at hand is the total disregard for international law that has clearly emerged in the world after the collapse of the Soviet Union at the end of the Cold War...  No country has the right to impose its domestic laws on other countries. This is a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of other countries. It an act of arrogance that implies that the rest of the world is part of a single country’s realm. In short this is how an empire acts. This behaviour, however, is also a sign of desperation as the American Empire tries exerting itself with greater force to hide the fact that it is crumbling.

Kiev Elections Can’t Sanitise State of Mob Rule

The Kiev regime’s parliamentary elections this weekend are set to go ahead amid an atmosphere of rampant political street violence and intimidation – and that’s not in the war-torn eastern part of Ukraine. The parliamentary elections were called in June by the then elected President Petro Poroshenko as a way of legitimising the illegal coup against the Ukrainian government that occurred four months previously with the support of the American Central Intelligence Agency... In the paraphrased words of Abraham Lincoln, no electoral process can sanitise the glaring fact of Kiev’s rule of the mob, by the mob, for the mob.
