Occupy Wall St. – Beware the Endgame

Protest encampments, gatherings, or marches have sprung up in over 100 cities, and the number of active participants has been rising. Occupy Wall Street movement has readied masses of Americans for a rethinking of the country's economic and ecological priorities, and the movement has acquired a self-sustaining momentum... No matter what degree of success OWS may have in elaborating new forms of politics, the chronic dysfunction in Washington, DC will continue to undermine Americans' allegiance to the formal political system. Perhaps a better politics will emerge out of an expanding OWS movement, and national policy will gradually navigate along the healthy social democratic trajectory northwestern Europe has traced...

America’s Death Pornography Culture: Celebrating brutal deaths of Qaddafi and Saddam

The United States government and military revels in death and pornographic intimidation. The videos and photographs of howling Iraqis celebrating the hanging of Iraqi president Saddam Hussein after his U.S.-administered kangaroo court trial in Iraq and the physical abuse, alleged sodomizing, and execution of Libya’s Muammar Qaddafi by NATO-armed and directed rebels after his convoy in Sirte was reportedly struck by a U.S. drone-launched missile, exemplify America’s fixation with pornographic death scenes…

A Lesson of Hungarian History

I want this article to be viewed as an official appeal to Hungary's National Investigation Office, which deals with war crimes during WW II. I believe that Moscow can provide all documents Budapest might prefer to have as a proof…

New geopolitical orientation completed: What do the killings of Milosevic, Saddam Hussein and Gaddafi have in common?

What do these three dead leaders have in common? First and visible the brutal form of their elimination...The Western allies did not hunt Slobodan Milosevic, Saddam Hussein and Muammar al-Gaddafi because of their bad politics, but because of their good ones. All the three can be seen as symbols for different versions of a “dictatorship for development”. This includes social politics for the masses and national economic modernization...But also their geopolitical position made them suspicious to the Western allies...Yugoslavia, Iraq and Libya – all three of them were key states between the two blocks in the period of the Cold War...Their closeness to Moscow had allowed them to keep relative distance to Western economic and political interests. Out of this position “in between” they had developed a certain self-consciousness, which survived the breakdown of the Soviet Union. But without the geopolitical backing this position directly led to catastrophic situations…

Jerzy Hoffman's Omissions

Loaded with anti-Russian propaganda, Jerzy Hoffman's new movie about the 1920-1921 Polish-Russian war – The Battle of Warsaw 1920 - will no doubt resonate with the Western audience…

The Dönmeh: The Middle East’s Most Whispered Secret (Part II)

What will surprise those who may already be surprised about the Dönmeh connection to Turkey, is the Dönmeh connection to the House of Saud in Saudi Arabia...Considering the links between Ergenekon and the Dönmeh in Turkey and the close intelligence and military links between the Dönmeh-descendent Sauds and Wahhabis in Arabia, the reports of close links between ousted Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and his intelligence chief Omar Suleiman and the Binyamin Netanyahu government in Israel may be seen in an entirely new light…

US-Europe: signs of class struggle

Probably, not every protester at the Wall-Street understands sophisticated mechanisms the banks use to rob the countries and their people.  But the fact that they have been occupying Wall-Street for more than two weeks, clearly shows that insatiate appetites of banks for profits   have triggered unprecedented for prosperous America social protests against unemployment, corruption, excessive corporate power and expensive education... And not only America: thousands of citizens in dozens of big cities all over the world have gone into the streets, supporting “Occupy Wall-Street” campaign in New York...

The Dönmeh: The Middle East’s Most Whispered Secret (Part I)

There is a historical “eight hundred pound gorilla” lurking in the background of almost every serious military and diplomatic incident involving Israel, Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Greece, Armenia, the Kurds, the Assyrians, and some other players in the Middle East and southeastern Europe...And it is the secretiveness attached to the subject that has been the reason for so much misunderstanding about the current breakdown in relations between Israel and Turkey, a growing warming of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia, and increasing enmity between Saudi Arabia and Iran…

Why does the International Criminal Court keep silence on Gaddafi`s death?

The alleged killing of the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has brought several crucial issues of international law to the forefront. Though it is evident that many pieces of video footage featuring Gaddafi`s last hours are fake, still there are some which may prove real...Russia`s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called for a thorough investigation in to Gaddafi`s death.  The world`s leading human rights organization, Amnesty International, commented on the event. Meanwhile, the International Criminal Court keeps silence. Why?..

Why Are Southern and Eastern Ukraine Rebelling?

The popular protest in the southeastern regions of Ukraine against the nationalists who carried out an armed coup d’état in Kiev is being linked - at the instigation of the U.S. State Department - with Russia's interference in the internal affairs of a neighboring country. In fact, the outbreak of the civil protest movement in these industrial regions has nothing to do with the supposed schemes of Russian intelligence agencies. The immediate impetus for current events came from the seizure of power in Kiev by interest groups with an aggressive anti-Russian ideology; the deeper cause of the movement is rooted in the ethnic composition of the population and the history of the settlement and development of these lands...
