Medvedev: The Name Venezuelans Pronounce Correctly

"Russian Embassy in Caracas sits in a picturesque little street Las Lomas de las Mercedes, steeply rising uphill. The shining plaque reading “Quinta “Soyuz” on the stone wall has been here since the time of the Soviet Union. Quite often the embassy personnel stay long hours, but at present this is even more noticeable. Russia’s president Dmitry Medvedev will pay an official visit to Venezuela on November 26..."

Russia and EU: Thorny Path to Mutual Understanding

"Despite an acute financial crisis worldwide, the Caucasus conflict remains one of the central issues to be discussed as part of the Russia - EU cooperation... What Should We Expect From the New US President?

"America's having a new President remains the number one global news, but it is already time to put an end to the dreams of quite a few journalists, experts, and seemingly knowledgeable political scientists that Obama's victory in the US presidential race is a prologue to an era free of confrontation and marked by cooperation between nations and peaceful coexistence..."

New Politics in South Asia in Offing?

"The US President-elect Barack Hussein Obama in his first interview after election on 4 November 2008 envisaged Kashmir issue as one of his policy initiatives in South Asia... From the very beginning the Kashmir issue got embroiled in the cold war politics... It was only the Tashkent agreement that could be counted as a successful mediation by a third party. Obama to Move Into the White House: Do Changes Await the US Geopolitics?

"The triumph of African American Obama over Anglo-Saxon McCain... transcend the borders of the US. The formula of the US global dominance is to ensure safe access to the world's key regions, strategic communications, and resources... No US President will ever change the US strategy, nor would this be allowed by the shadow financial organizations. It is the alliance of Obama and the global finances that actually triumphed in the November 4 elections. Currently it is a priority of this alliance to sustain the US ascension to global primacy..."

Ukraine: Donbass Becomes Special Status Territory

The Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada at a closed meeting on Tuesday, September 16, adopted a presidential law on the introduction of a special order of government in some districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions for a period of three years. On September 18 President Petro Poroshenko is to visit the United States of America. He will meet President Barack Obama, address the both houses of Congress and discuss the aid package to Ukraine at the Atlantic Council. All his steps taken now, including the cease-fire and the agreement to freeze the Donbass conflict for three years at the time the US starts a new war in the Middle East, are not impromptu decisions but rather well thought over actions coordinated with Washington.
